The WoodOwl Deep Cut Utility Auger is engineered for fast, accurate drilling of deep, clean holes in the toughest wood conditions.

• Designed to bore deep, smooth holes in utility poles, railroad ties, pressure-treated lumber, and wet or frozen wood
• Single spur scores the outside edge of the hole before material removal for clean, accurate cuts
• Aggressive single-flute spiral design delivers fast drilling and efficient chip evacuation in deep holes
• Precision-machined from solid round blanks for perfectly concentric drilling with minimal wobble
• Burr-free, precision-ground lead screw allows immediate starts with reduced wandering
• PTFE coating reduces friction, heat buildup, and corrosion while improving chip ejection
• Cutting head induction hardened to 58 HRC for long-lasting edge retention
• Tapered shaft design increases strength near the shank for demanding applications
• Hand-sharpened cutting edge and spur; can be resharpened
