Replacing strut cartridges or repairing damaged assemblies requires controlling extreme spring tension safely. This heavy-duty two-piece MacPherson strut coil spring compressor mounts directly to the spring, allowing you to compress the coil evenly and service the strut assembly without risking dangerous slippage or unexpected release.

Heavy-Duty Construction and Safety: Forged from heat-treated steel, this set features double-ended chrome-plated jaws built to handle heavy loads. The included attachable safety hooks lock the compressor firmly to the spring coils, providing maximum control and preventing the tool from shifting while under tension.

Operation Note: For balanced compression and to prevent shaft binding, alternate tightening each side equally with 5 to 6 short ratchet turns at a time.
